If you are having trouble but have never used the virtual labs in-person, please come to the labs during open hours (8AM to 8PM Monday through Thursday, 8AM to 6PM Friday) and make sure you are properly set up. Both options provide the same desktop, although the native client gives you more options for connecting peripherals and a smoother user interface experience. You will be able to install the VMWare view client as software on your local computer (Windows, Macintosh, Linux, iOS and Android) and launch the virtual lab session natively, or you can use the web browser that you are viewing this website with for the web-based virtual interface. If no seats are available right now, try back later - there is no wait queuing for the labs. As before, all lab seats will be available remotely when the labs are not in session (after 8PM weekday evenings and weekends), but you will be able to use the labs anytime through this new program. With additional licensing and hardware, we are now able to offer 30 seats on a 24-hour basis, in addition to the seats reserved for class times in the labs.
